In parts of town the modes of transport work in perfect harmony with the Victorian style town houses. Yet the more modern districts, where some lines begin, the setting can be a tad peculiar. Whether it's getting from A to B or for the experience and views, a ride in one of these cable cars will set you back $7. Three lines make up the network of tram lines in San Francisco, all passing close to a score of notable landmarks. Tickets can be availed from the booths around major terminals or on the tram itself.
