This beloved clock tower is the symbol of Graz and worth the lung-busting climb up the Schlossberg’s slopes to reach it (there’s also a lift and a funicular if you require a less strenuous way up). The surrounding area is quite lovely too, with gardens, a cafe or two and smashing views of the city below. You can also check out the schedule at the nearby Kasematten concert venue, it hosts everything from heavy metal concerts to ABBA tributes and staged operas.
