After returning from Lago Grey spend the night at Paine Grande, a very well developed Refugio and camp ground. As a hub on the trail, doubling as the dock for the ferry, this is one of the busiest Refugios you'll encounter. That's not necessarily a bad thing - the camp kitchens and bathroom blocks here are, arguably, the best of all the Refugios. The lodge itself has an on-site mini mart, which is well stocked, as well as a large restaurant serving up an array of different food. The highlight, though, has to be the upstairs bar! Grab a bottle of wine and enjoy the outstanding view across Lake Pehoe and mountains.
