Yeh Pulu Bedulu Temple
At the end of the terrace is the Yeh Pulu Temple, believed to be dating to the 14th century and founded by the Dutch around the same period as Goa Gajah. Here you will see a 25 metre rock wall with some awesome old carvings and ancient statues depicting the arrival of Hindu’s into Bali, Balinese core beliefs and way of life. In addition to the carvings, there is a holy well here, and the attendant priest will be happy to bless you with the well water. Temple dress code applies. This is a much underrated and under-visited site, and is highly recommended.
If you are up for a nature walk, take the 45 min trek from Goa Gajah to Yeh Pulu. The quiet walk through seemingly endless lush green paddy fields is a big thumbs up, you will surely need a guide though as there is no path to speak of.
