This neoclassical church is in my view San Marino's most striking. At its entrance are steps leading to over half a dozen columns adorned with acanthus leaves at the top. Entrance is free and there seems to be a balance of religious acolytes and tourists shuffling in and out. Besides this observation the hushed yet welcoming feeling of this basilica made it a place I looked back on with warmth. #church #columns #free #architecture
