This small bistro embraces the locally produced ingredients of Iowa: pork chops, bacon, greens, mushrooms, and more. I had to start the night off with garlic shrimp topped with micro greens. The heat from the garlic with the creaminess of the butter, the bitterness of the greens and the sweetness of the shrimp, it was perfect. For my entree, I selected grilled local pork topped with stone fruit. The pork was perfectly cooked: pink and juicy on the inside with a slight char on the outside. The sweet stone fruit compote pulled even more flavors that danced in my mouth. This was superb! #decorah #goodeats
