Cabbage Tree Bay Aquatic Reserve
Sydney’s only no-take Marine Park includes the calm, protected waters of Shelly Beach and the adjoining reef off Fairy Bower Ocean Pool. The fish life here is spectacular and undoubtedly makes one of the stunning snorkeling sites in Sydney. Apart from the resident massive schools of yellowtail and the ever-present blue gropers, wobbegongs, fiddler rays and flathead, depending on the season, you can spot the occasional turtle, juvenile dusky sharks (summer and autumn) and breeding giant cuttlefish and Port Jackson sharks winter). #snorkeling #snorkelling #snorkel #beaches #wildlife
