Josef Riedel who was a glass magnate consecrated this tomb in Neo-Romanesque/Gothic style to his family. The 365 granite steps leading up Mount Mariánská were said to have been added one-by-one every day of the year until it reached its foot. His villa is located a couple of hundred metres away and can be tacked on to a visit to Desnà. The colours of the Riedel Tomb are pitch-perfect with the autumn leaves and provides a plush edge to the slightly wrinkled side of town. #free #history #architecture
