Every first Sunday in November, a good chunk of NYC streets shut down for the annual Marathon, one of the most prestigious on the running circuit. Don’t even try to stake out a spot near the finish line in Central Park, you’re not going to get one. But do check out the route, which winds through all five boroughs, there are plenty of other prime viewing areas.
