Ping Shan Heritage Trail is for the history buffs and architecture lovers. Traditional study halls, ancestral buildings and colonial-style mansions wend their way through Ping Shan in clusters, marked by an octagonal three-story high pagoda. It is said that the buildings around Ping Shan are built with many Feng Shui elements to protect its villagers and their wealth who built the town over 800 years ago. Expect to walk through some interesting circular doorways and alleyways one after another inside walled villages.
