One of the most striking mosques I've come across, set in the Kremin walls of Kazan. By night the lights illuminate its most decadent features such as the minarets and sea blue dome. Photography isn't allowed inside but I was overcome with temptation to catch a snap shot of the elegant lacework balcony and ceiling. #architecture #free #photography
