A tower with what seems to be a giant football perched at the top of it dominates the park. The structure is just shy of 100 meters high. To be exact it's 99.8 meters, aimed at incorporating two of the three lucky numbers in Chinese culture, the other being six. If it wasn't for a stadium behind this meteorological station it can easily beguile you into presuming it's a giant, blown up trophy.
