My first visit to Mexico was to the city of Puebla and I absolutely loved it! It’s Mexico’s 4th largest city and only a short journey (approx 2hrs) from Mexico City. The culture and the landscape are outstanding - with great views of the volcanoes (Popocatépetl & Iztaccíhuatl) on a clear day. There’s plenty of sights to see; you can obviously see the European influence and the restaurants and nightlife are fun too! Here’s some of the sights I would suggest - most of which are in walking distance of each other in the centre of Puebla!!
