I am going to DR with a friend for 3 days. Does anybody have any recommendations on where to go or what to do? Thanks!

Martha, If you can afford the time to take a bus up to Samaná, you'd see some of the most beautiful jungle there is.

I got away from the resorts and went to Samana. Great location. If you make it there I’d research some of the hikes. You can walk a couple of hours and wind up on some of the nicest beaches. Best part, you might be the only one on it the entire day!
If you have a car there are good day trips around there too. There’s a cool hike/waterfall nearby
