Slung on the side of a busy road leading directly out of the city is a cafe with an abundance of Koi. It's completely off the beaten track in Prague and a perfect spot in summer. Shaded by big umbrellas the scores of Koi add harmony to the environment. In fact the whole atmosphere enables one to completely forget about the hum of traffic in the background. The cafe itself is surrounded by potted plants with a large terrace next to a sizable pond of the fish and water lilies. Their range of ice creams and pies at 120 CZK (4 GBP) are commendable and service is polite and friendly. I really like this spot for sipping affordable, decent sized coffees and marvelling at their nature. For 10 Czech krones you can by a bowl off feed for the Koi whilst sifting through what sweets to indulge on.
