'Doi Cocosi' means 'Two Cocks' in Romanian. The name of this restaurant was inspired by the fact that when the restaurant was set up a few decades ago - on the outskirts of Bucharest (near the Straulesti Lake), there were more households with animals rather than restaurants in that neighborhood. Nowadays, it has become a popular restaurant in Bucharest, and locals go there especially for their signature dish - chicken cooked in a pot (pui la ceaun). Besides that, the traditional polenta with eggs, cheese, and bacon is another good option that will make your mouth water.
