Depart Paine Grande on the morning of day 3 and hike to camp site Italiano. Drop your gear at the campsite and begin the trek up into Valle Francés. Take with you some snacks for energy and something for lunch at the top of the Valley. This is where you're going to see some of the most epic scenery of your entire adventure in the Torres del Paine National Park. Glaciers, forests, rivers, mountains on every side - it's all here, and it's all beautiful! The end goal is the Mirador Britanico, at the end of the valley, but the journey itself is breathtaking. Along the way you'll hear, and hopefully even see, avalanches falling from the glaciers on the western side of the valley.
