The Museum of Communism is a landmark in downtown Prague I'd wanted to check out for some time. Standing in a busy part of the city the beige facade over shadowing Billa is rigid and stark. As such, it's an appropriate face of what it's meant to depict. The cold whitewashed staircase shouts out at you as you enter creating an atmosphere in an instant. Whilst I feel the attraction is overpriced, at 380 CZK (14 GBP), there is quite a lot to get your teeth into. The information is dense and although the exhibits lack interactivity, the information boards are very well organized. For history buffs or those with a specific interest in this field, the museum certainly won't disappoint.
