Among hundreds of pubs I've been to in London over the last twenty years this hangout is one of my favourites. I just love the name for starters. The premises has three seating areas including an outside section replete with garden sofas and canvas shelters. Then there is their on fleek conservatory, ideal for those clear yet parkier days. The pub is one of those places where guests really melt into their furnishings decked out in velvet armchairs and chesterfields. Everything is very tasteful here and whilst not shining with opulence and splendor you can rest assured rocking up here in jeans and t-shirt you'll not feel out of place. As for the food it could not be faulted for pub lunch standard. In fact for the presentation and taste it exceeded my expectations. The desserts are as though they've just been made.
