One of the greenest countries I've come across is Sri Lanka. As written in one guide book 'The Tear of India' shaped as such but for me I see it as a jewel in the Indian Ocean. The colour, smiles and grub score 10 out of 10 every time. After my 10 short days in this wonderful land it felt more like the end of having lived there an entire year.
Held within its 65,000 square kilometres are endless sand beaches which stretch almost the entire perimeter of the country. Unpredictable monsoons sweep the country annually and diverse flora and fauna, temples and tea plantation make Sri Lanka a place packed with sights and sounds that never leave you stuck for what to see and where to go next.
