I've developed a real taste for birds since my trip to West Africa (no pun intended). I dote upon witnessing their bright colours and learning of their unique characteristics is doubly fascinating. Catching a glimpse of these winged delights is as much of an achievement as managing a snapshot of them. During my time devoted to birdwatching I managed to spot birds of varying hues not only covering primary colours but secondary and tertiary.
